The Promised Neverland Vol. 12 Review (Hey Poor Player)

My last piece of the decade. I plan to start the '20s with a bang, so look forward to what I have in store!

Speaking of which...Leave Luck to Heaven's 10-year anniversary is just around the corner! I'll be writing a commemorative piece to celebrate and share my plans for the blog moving forward.

8-Bit Chronicles: Retro Game Challenge (Hey Poor Player)

I've wanted to discuss this game since forever! I originally planned on a review here, but I came up with exploiting a loophole for 8-Bit Chronicles and figured I could share my love for this niche masterpiece with a wider audience.

(But no, seriously: watch Game Center CX. If you're invested in gaming at all, you owe it to yourself.)

One Piece Vol. 92 Review (Hey Poor Player)

I wasn't as happy with this one as I liked; I mean, given that I had to do five reviews in one month, I guess there'd be at least one review not up to snuff, but Volume 91 set such a high standard that I'd like to model my manga reviews around it going forward.

A Tropical Fish Yearns For Snow Vol. 1 Review (Hey Poor Player)

My first gay romance manga! I guess some pedantic readers would disagree with calling it a romance, but I calls it like I sees it.

Anyway, I originally planned on doing Volume 2, but VIZ was especially late with their review copies for this round and 2020's looking absolutely swamped thus far, so unfortunately it wasn't meant to be. I definitely wanna read more, though!

Dr. Stone Vol. 8 Review (Hey Poor Player)

I can't wait to cover the Stone Wars!

My Hero Academia Vol. 21 Review (Hey Poor Player)

Did I hit a record in doing five manga reviews in one month?

Deemo Movie Interview Featuring Ming-Yang Yu and Mitsuhisa Ishikawa at AnimeNYC 2019 (Hey Poor Player)

My first in-person interview -- and a group one, at that! I didn't know much about Deemo beforehand, so I hunkered down with the Switch demo beforehand and did some intensive research beforehand.

My greatest thanks to AnimeNYC's PR team for providing this special opportunity!

8-Bit Chronicles: Gradius (Hey Poor Player)

Happy New Year! I kept procrastinating on this one for some reason.
